Connect the M10 eye terminal of the red cable with the fuse to the positive terminal of the battery. The battery monitor is now powered up. the Bluetooth LED will start blinking and Bluetooth is active. In order to be fully functional, the battery monitor needs to be configured; see the Configuration chapter.
Wiring for use as DC meter When using the battery monitor as a DC meter, wire it to the device or circuit that needs to be monitored. Note that the battery monitor also needs to be configured as a DC monitor using the VictronConnect app before it will operate as a DC monitor. See the Configure for use as DC meter chapter.
To set this value you must know the amp-hour capacity of your battery system which has been set in program P3. We often suggest value for the “current setpoint” setting that is 2% of C, which is the default setting when the meter is new, where C=battery system capacity in amp-hours that is programmed in P3.
1.) First detrmine the location of the batery monitor . Use the template sticker provide to exactly locate the positon of the fixng holes. The hole d batery monitor body must be 52m. For the four mounting screws use 3.5m holes for metric screws or 2m holes for the self taping screws. When the holes are made, do not forget to remove the template.
If you also wish to also monitor the voltage (only) of a secondary battery you will also need to connect a fifth wire from the positive post of this battery to meter as shown in wiring diagram. The terminal block on the TriMetric circuit board accommodates wire size from 16 to 26 AWG.
