To mount the unit vertically as a security light, attach the unit to a solid surface as shown in figure. Use the two screws provided in the package (#7 on parts list). The solar cell is the main power source for the SOLAR PIR SENSOR LIGHT. It converts the sunlight's energy into electricity that charges the battery in main unit.
For further instructions on setting up Sense with your solar system, please consult the Sense Solar Installation Guide. If your solar taps directly into your main service lines, it is important that you place your main current sensors in a matching fashion: either both above the taps or both below them.
Dirt and debris can accumulate on the sensors of your solar light, which can interfere with their proper functioning. You can clean the sensors using a soft cloth and a gentle cleaning solution to fix this issue. Ensure you do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the sensors.
