Solar roads, also known as photovoltaic pavements, are roads that incorporate solar panels into their surface. The basic idea is to replace traditional asphalt or concrete roads with specially designed solar panels that can withstand the weight of vehicles while generating. Solar roadways are specially designed road surfaces embedded with photovoltaic panels that can generate electricity while supporting vehicle traffic. These systems typically consist of multiple layers: a bottom foundation, solar cells in the middle, and a transparent top surface strong enough to. With our goal of creating safer and more sustainable roads, integrating solar energy into infrastructure offers significant added value for our customers. At Saferoad, we believe that integrating solar modules into existing infrastructures presents an opportunity to create energy centers that not. Covering the world's highways with solar panels would reduce carbon emissions, bolster energy production, and improve safety for drivers. We are so thankful for the supporters who have heard about Solar Roadways' vision and decided to share this journey with us. These roads can feature additional equipment, such as heated panels and LED lighting, to melt ice and snow, power street and lane.
